HOW TO RAISE YOUR FREQUENCY

Rhonda Armbrust

The hippie movement and possibly LSD use introduced the term “vibes” into popular culture. The Beach Boys’ song about a man drawn to a woman because of her “good vibrations” helped bring this idea into everyday language. But what are good vibes, and why do they matter? More importantly, how can we cultivate them in our own lives?

Science confirms that atoms vibrate, creating energy. Our bodies are made of atoms, and these atoms continuously vibrate at measurable frequencies. These vibrational frequencies can be observed using spectroscopic techniques and are measured in hertz. Different types of frequencies exist throughout nature, including sound waves, radio waves, ultrasound, and brainwaves, all of which influence how we feel and function.

Every living organism exists within an electromagnetic field, a form of vibration that moves through space in waves. Emerging research suggests that consciousness itself can influence this electromagnetic environment, meaning our thoughts, emotions, and intentions may directly affect our energetic state.

What Does a Heightened Frequency Do?

Studies have explored how a person’s energetic frequency relates to their emotional and mental state. According to Dr. David R. Hawkins, each emotional state carries a measurable frequency. Through muscle testing, he developed Emotional Frequency Charts showing that fear vibrates around 100 hertz, while love rises into the 500 range, and enlightenment exceeds 700.

Research has also demonstrated measurable changes in the body when emotional states shift. One study found that imagining different emotional experiences altered brain electromagnetic signals.

MIT researchers achieved 87 percent accuracy in identifying emotional states using an EQ-Radio device that analyzed breathing patterns and heart rate through radio frequency signals.

The HeartMath Institute has shown that the electromagnetic field of the human heart becomes more coherent during positive emotional states such as love, appreciation, and gratitude.

This coherence supports emotional stability, clarity, and overall wellbeing. Similarly, Dr. Masaru Emoto’s well known experiments demonstrated that projected emotional intention influenced the structure of frozen water molecules, with positive emotional states producing harmonious and symmetrical patterns, and negative emotional states producing disordered formations.

At the cellular level, research by molecular biologist Dr. Garret Yount indicates that healing vibrations can influence biological processes. Additional studies have shown that positive emotional states support physical healing and recovery. In metaphysical traditions, higher vibrational states have long been associated with healing, suggesting the possibility of directing healing energy toward individuals or communities in need.

Tools to Raise Your Frequency

Holistic wellness recognizes many pathways to raising your frequency. As your frequency increases, you naturally become more open hearted, present, and aligned. People often experience greater clarity, emotional balance, groundedness, mindfulness, and a deeper sense of peace and joy.

Practices such as meditation, hypnosis, sound healing, ecstatic dance, yoga, Reiki, and breathwork help regulate the nervous system and elevate your energetic state. Immersive wellness experiences such as Best Life-ing retreats can accelerate this process by creating an environment designed for deep restoration and transformation.

Objective measurements have confirmed these shifts. EEG testing conducted before and after Best Life-ing’s five day Quantum Peak retreat showed measurable improvements in emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and overall wellbeing. These findings suggest that immersive healing experiences can help participants reach higher and more coherent energetic states.

Mindfulness practices, including meditation and yoga, strengthen present moment awareness and improve Heart Rate Variability, an important marker of nervous system health. Increased HRV is associated with reduced stress, improved emotional regulation, enhanced focus, and greater emotional resilience.

Sound healing also plays a powerful role in supporting energetic balance. Sound bowl sessions use harmonic frequencies that help calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and promote emotional release. These vibrations support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and harmony.

Brainwave activity further illustrates how different states of consciousness influence frequency. During waking activity, the brain operates primarily in Beta waves, which range from 12 to 38 hertz.

In hypnosis, the brain shifts into Alpha and Theta states, ranging from 4 to 12 hertz. These deeper states allow the conscious mind to relax while opening access to the subconscious, where patterns can be released, insights gained, and emotional healing can occur.

At Best Life-ing, we offer hypnosis, meditation, Reiki, sound healing, yoga, and personalized nervous system support to help you reconnect with your natural state of balance. These practices are designed to help you release stress, elevate your frequency, and experience greater clarity, peace, and alignment.
